New Emergency Notification System

posted Mar 1, 2016, 6:36 AM by Sustainable Voorhees
In an effort to provide more reliable communication with residents and businesses, Camden County and Voorhees Township have implemented the Swift911 emergency notification service. The Swift911 system allows officials to quickly alert constituents of utility outages, road closures, fires, floods, hurricanes, evacuations, and other emergency events via voice, text, fax, email, and CAP/IPAWS. As this is a new service, prospective users must register for Swift911 even if they currently receive notifications from other providers such as CodeRed or Nixle.

The following information is required to enroll in Swift911:
  • First and last name
  • Street address, city, state, and zip code (no P.O. boxes)
  • Primary telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Secondary phone number(s) and address(es)
Because alerts are targeted geographically, a physical address is mandatory for Swift911 registration. Registered users can sign in at any time to update their contact information and notification preferences. Submitted information will be used for emergency communication purposes only.

Please use the portal below to register for Swift911 or update user information.
